Last Year
Last year our sixth annual Back 2 School Community Block Party was a big
success. It was great to see 25 area churches
suburban and urban join hands, with the primary purpose of extending the
kingdom of God in Knoxville. We had over 4,000 people from the
community come to the event, and our expectations are great for what the Lord
is going to do next year. This event was not about numbers, or to see how
many from the area we could get to come. It was about the presence of
God. It was about having a holy God reveal Himself to a community of
people. As His hands and feet we believe that God was revealed in a
tangible way on that great day. Seeing that those from the community did
not want to leave, was a testimony that God had done it again. He had
touched hearts and changed lives. Thanks to all who lent a helping hands!
